Join our ‘Magic meadow adventures’ nature club and discover the secrets of Durdham Down!
Get involved in our immersive and friendly half term nature club as together we explore the spectacular wildflower meadows on Durdham Down with an exciting wildflower treasure hunt! Work together as a team to discover the clues which lead us to the ‘lost’ Bristol Onion!! To complete the morning we take a deep dive into the colours of the meadow and create a mini work of art to take home.
After our feel-good morning of unforgettable activities we head back to the Botanic Garden for a relaxed packed lunch sitting by the lake and amongst the stunning flower gardens. For the afternoon we stay with our friends in the beautiful setting of the Botanic Garden and let our creative juices flow as we each craft our own felty flower and a colourful mandala to take home.
Suitable for children aged 7-10 on their own or with a sibling/friend.
Children should be comfortable in a social group & responsive to those looking after them during the nature club.
Tutors & all adults are experienced working with children and DBS checked.
On Durdham Down & at the University of Bristol Botanic Garden.
