Wednesdays 12th, 19th, 26th March, 2nd April (4 sessions)
Our weekly pre-school child + adult nature club is a joyful mix of discovering the natural world through seasonal activities and getting closer to nature, in the woodland and meadow of the Downs. Share the experience with like-minded families who value experiencing our uplifting nature with their child.
Each week we follow an immersive seasonal theme in our activities, enjoy a craft or creativity spot and finish with a hot chocolate and biscuit for everyone as we listen to a story. Our remaining themes this spring term include: ‘Why do birds sing?’; ‘Spring buds’, ‘Dinosaurs on the Downs’; ‘Easter eggs and nests’.
Suitable for children aged 2-4 years with their adult. Younger children are welcome for free but your pre-schooler will need you to enjoy the session with them, engaging in the activities alongside them. We aim to stay outside for our entire session but in case of heavy rain, an indoor space is available. Toilets are available at the end of our sessions.
Your tutor is a very experienced environmental educator who is DBS checked and first aid trained.
