Postcard and poetry promenade on Clifton Down

Step back in time with Francis Greenacre to discover the history and changing landscape of the Downs, and find ways of bringing your discoveries into your own writing about the present with Downs poet-in-residence Dr John Wedgwood Clarke. On this captivating walk we’ll use postcards, prints, photos and creative-writing activities to haunt current views with those from days gone by.

Dr John Wedgwood Clarke is Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing at the University of Exeter.
