Little kids on the Downs! Nature club for pre-schoolers with adult. SOLD OUT

Mondays 26th February – 25th March (5 sessions)

Our pre-school age child + adult sessions are a joyful mix of discovering the natural world through age-appropriate seasonal activities and getting closer to nature and your child, in the mature woodland and wildflower meadow of the Downs. Share the experience with like-minded families who value experiencing our uplifting nature with their child.

Each week we follow an immersive seasonal theme in our activities, enjoy a craft or creativity spot and finish with a warm/cold drink and biscuit as we listen to a story. Our themes this late spring term include: ‘Spring flowers’; ‘Dinosaurs on the Downs’; ‘Trees in springtime’; ‘Nests and eggs’; ‘Eastertime’.

Suitable for pre-school age children 2-4 years with an adult. Younger children are welcome for free but your pre-schooler will need you to enjoy the session with them, engaging in the activities alongside them at all times.

Toilets are available at former Bristol Zoo Gardens site and an inside/covered space is used in case of very inclement / cold weather for our craft and drinks. As spring progresses we aim to enjoy being outside for as much of the time as we can

Your tutors are experienced environmental educators who are DBS checked and first aid trained.
