Mondays 30th Oct – 4th October (6 sessions)

Our new pre-school age child + adult sessions are a joyful mix of discovering the natural world through age-appropriate seasonal activities and getting closer to nature and your child, in the mature woodland and wildflower meadow of the Downs. Share the experience with like-minded families who value experiencing our uplifting nature with their child.

Each week we follow an immersive seasonal theme in our activities, enjoy a craft or creativity spot and finish with a warm/cold drink and biscuit as we listen to a story. Our themes this late autumn term include: nocturnal nature; getting ready for winter; autumn minibeasts; Christmas – to name a few!

Suitable for pre-school age children 2-4 years with an adult. Younger children are welcome for free but your pre-schooler will need you to enjoy the session with them, engaging in the activities alongside them at all times.

Toilets are available before (and after) the session at Bristol Zoo Gardens and a covered space is used in case of very inclement weather.

Your tutors are experienced environmental educators and teachers who are DBS checked and first aid trained.
